[Well, it was worth a shot. She ponders for a moment, giving up on the brute force approach before trying something a little ... sneakier.]

[Killian raises an eyebrow at her.]

Not remotely. Why?

[She smirks a bit, before placing her hands on her shoulders, pushing up, and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. Not the romantic interlude the person who cast the spell was envisioning, but this is more about following the letter of the spell, rather than the spirit.]

[Well, that's awkward. He gives her a dubious look as she pulls away.] I hardly think that's going to work with us. [She isn't even remotely his true love.]

The rules are I have to kiss you. The spell never said where.

[she takes a breath, before taking a step back, trying to get outside the radius of the spell.]

[Killian looks dubious, but as she steps away, he raises his eyebrow.]

That was it? Really? Not much of a curse.

Not all magic is meant to hurt. Some of it is simply meant to annoy.

Somehow, that doesn't make me like it any more. [He doesn't really mind using it, but the price never seems to be worth it.]

Magic is never meant to make people happy. Just meant to give them power.

Explains a lot about those who wield it, doesn't it?
